Tips for Smooth Tracking
Make the most of LTO Tracker with these practical tips from experienced users across the Philippines.
Double-Check Numbers Before Submitting
Typos are the #1 reason for “Not Found” results. Verify your plate number or MV File number against your Certificate of Registration.
Use Clear, Recent Photos for Delivery
Blurry or expired ID photos cause delivery rejections. Retake them in natural daylight and crop out backgrounds.
Save Your Payment Receipt
Screenshot your GCash or QR payment confirmation. You’ll need this if there’s any delivery dispute or tracking issue.
Keep Your Courier Number Handy
Once you receive your SMS tracking number, save it. You can use it directly on the courier’s website for more granular delivery updates.
Visit ltotracker.ph, then enter your plate number or MV File Number (found on your Certificate of Registration). Click Track and your real-time status appears instantly — no login, no account, no fee required.
Status options: In Process → Dispatched → Available for Pickup or Ready for Delivery.
Once your plate shows “Ready for Delivery” status on LTO Tracker:
- Select Express Plate Delivery
- Upload clear photos of your valid ID and OR/CR
- Enter your full address including barangay and city
- Pay the delivery fee via QR code or GCash (₱150–₱500)
- Receive SMS with your courier tracking number
Delivery takes 3–10 business days depending on your region.
Delivery usually takes 3–5 business days within Metro Manila and CALABARZON, and 7–10 business days for provincial areas. The 3–10 day window begins after your plate is dispatched — not from the time you placed your delivery request.
Track your courier package directly using the SMS tracking number for the most up-to-date delivery estimate.
Yes, LTO Tracker is legitimate and safe. It is a widely-used third-party tracking platform that queries the official LTO production database to retrieve real-time plate and license status. The site does not store your sensitive personal data beyond what is needed to process delivery requests.
With over 226,000 monthly searches in the Philippines, LTO Tracker is among the most-used government-related tools in the country.
Delivery fees vary by location:
- Metro Manila (NCR): ₱150
- CALABARZON: ₱250
- Central Luzon (Region 3): ₱300

No, you don’t need an LTMS account. You only need your plate number or MV File number to track. However, if your search returns “Not Found,” adding your LTMS client number can help the system locate your specific record — especially for recently processed plates.
“Not Found” typically means one of the following:
- Your plate number was entered incorrectly (check spacing and format)
- Your plate is still in the early production stage and hasn’t been entered in the system yet
- Your registration is under a different number than expected
Try using your MV File Number as an alternative. If still not found, contact your local LTO branch with your full name and LTMS client number.
Not yet. Foreign license conversion tracking is not currently supported by LTO Tracker. For updates on your conversion status, visit your LTO branch directly or use the official LTMS portal.
Yes. LTO offices in Metro Manila (NCR) and CALABARZON are open on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This includes plate pickup and license renewals.
LTO branches outside these regions follow a Monday–Friday schedule. Always check with your specific local LTO branch to confirm weekend availability.
No registration is required. LTO Tracker is a free tool — just enter your plate or license number and search. For delivery services, you’ll provide your contact info and address at checkout, but no account creation is needed.
LTO Tracker is primarily designed for tracking license plates and driver’s licenses. For OR/CR (Official Receipt / Certificate of Registration) status, use your MV File Number from the existing CR as the search input — this links to your vehicle’s registration record.
LTO Tracker focuses on plate and license delivery tracking. For violation records (e.g., traffic citations, MMDA violations), use the official LTO LTMS portal or contact your LTO district office directly.
